Busch air inlet filter assemblies provide additional protection for the vacuum pump by preventing product and particle contaminants from entering the pump inlet. Preventing contamination effectively reduces pump wear and helps to maintain optimum operational reliability. These heavy duty housings are available with different media to suit every application in industrial vacuum technology. Genuine filter elements are characterised by their extremely high separation efficiency coupled with very low pressure loss, also at high volume throughput. Through offering you expert advise we make a contribution towards you reducing your operating costs to a minimum.
Paper Cartridges
Busch standard inlet filter cartridges for removing dust and dirt particles from dry gases. Separation efficiency up to 5 micron.
Busch Polyester inlet filter cartridges for removing dirt particles in damp processes, not affected by moisture and corrosion-resistant. Separation efficiency up to 10 micron.
Busch Glass Fibre inlet filter cartridges for removing fine dust with a particle size of 2 micron. We recommend installation of a cascade filter in the form of an upstream air filter with paper cartridge depending on the amount of fine dust to be removed.
Busch Sieve Inserts are used for removing larger solids such as welding beads or scale to protect the pump during new system or pipeline commissioning. The sieve inserts can be replaced by filter inserts that match the production process once commissioning has been completed.
Original Busch Discharge filters are highly effective filter systems which have been specially developed for removing oil mist from exhaust air from oil-recirculation rotary vane vacuum pumps. The highest possible removal of oil for a minimal dynamic pressure as well as a long working life reduce the maintenance cost of vacuum pumps and increase the operational reliability. The highest collection efficiency is obtained by optimal tuning which drastically reduces the amount of oil remaining in the exhausted air, which means a cleaner working environment.
A filter pressure gauge allows one to easily and securely check the degree of saturation of discharge filters. It shows exactly when the discharge filters should be replaced. It is therefore advisable to use a filter pressure gauge for every R 5 vacuum pump in order to maintain the correct maintenance intervals and thus to guarantee a long working life for the vacuum pumps.
Original Busch Oil filters were specially designed for use in oil-recirculation rotary vane vacuum pumps. This is a means of ensuring reliable oil circulation and low pressure differences. Products from other manufacturers can prevent adequate oil circulation due to the high required pressure difference and lead to a vacuum pump breakdown due to inadequate lubrication.
Busch Digital Test Gauge 545-000-112 is a state of the art vacuum gauge that is ideal for testing vacuum pump and equipment efficiency. In the food packaging industry where a drop in vacuum can cause reduced safe storage time knowing the vacuum level achieved by your equipment if vital. The Busch Digital Test Gauge is a quick and easy way of checking the efficiency of your equipment and can be used inside vacuum chambers without the need for hoses or wires compromising seals and holds peak vacuum until reset. Use of the Busch Digital Test Gauge can also substantially reduce down time by assisting with troubleshooting the vacuum system and quickly pinpointing the problem.
Busch liquid separators made out of Plexiglas serve as suction-side protection for vacuum pumps from condensate and liquids. The integrated non-return valve effectively prevents overfilling. The fill level is easily visible through the transparent Plexiglas vessel. The vacuum system must be stopped and vented to empty the separator.
Busch liquid separators LSS (standard) and LSA (automatic) serve as protection from condensate and liquids on the suction side of vacuum pumps. These separators are fitted with a demister insert, above the place where the condensates and liquids are collected, which protects the separator from rough sources of contamination. The transparent vessel allows one to easily see the fill level at any time. The vacuum system must be stopped and vented to empty the separator. Liquid separators LSS/LSA are used to also discharge accumulating liquids during vacuum generation so that the process does not need to be interrupted.
Cyclone separators are mechanical separators for extracting liquids (mist and droplets) from gases and mixtures of gases. They are placed upstream of the vacuum pump to prevent liquids finding their way into the pump. With level indicator and optionally available with a connection for a level switch
Busch liquid and dust separators are installed on the suction side of the pump to protect against solids and liquids. The vacuum system must be stopped and vented to clean and empty the liquid and dust separator. Busch liquid and dust separators can be supplied in four different sizes whereby selection is according to the suction capacity of the vacuum pump. Areas of use include the ceramic industry, foundries, and suction conveying equipment for bulk solids. Liquid and dust separators are installed separately next to the vacuum pump and connected to the vacuum pump by a vacuum hose.
Busch liquid and dust separators with automatic drain for liquids are used to protect vacuum pumps from large quantities of liquid. The double-chambered system as well as the integrated valve control allow continuous removal of the separated liquids, even when vacuum is generated. Busch liquid and dust separators with automatic grain for liquids are available in two sizes, depending on the suction capacity of the vacuum pump and the quantity of the liquids to separate. fields of application are vacuum processes in which large liquid quantities have to be separated continuously. The separators are installed separately next to the vacuum pump and connected to the pump with flexible hose.
